How You’ll Contribute

The Director of Information Technology is responsible for planning, implementation and management of the organization’s information systems and technology infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of IT assets and data. Develops and communicates a strategic vision for the organization’s information systems and business analytics to align with the organization’s overall business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directs the design, development, and maintenance of systems, programs, and systems software to meet management and company's information needs.
• Establishes IS policies, standards, practices, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent information processing operations and to safeguard information resources.
• Assists in development and oversight of the organization’s business analytics and intelligence strategy. Oversees collection, processing, and analysis of large datasets to derive meaningful business insights.
• Administers the Department's expense budget, within budgetary guidelines to contribute to cost-effective operation of the company.
• Plans and controls departmental staffing, development, organization, and hardware acquisitions to ensure that they are consistent with the business plan of the company.
• Manage and ensure effectiveness of servers, including e-mail, print, and backup servers, and their associated operating systems, including virtualization and software.
• Approve and administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.
• Manage and ensure optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, UPSs.
• Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of IT systems, including networks, data centers, servers, PCs, operating systems, and associated hardware.
• Monitors and participates in the employment lifecycle for all information systems team members, recruiting, hiring, orientation, managing workload, team member performance review and development and any corrective action.
• Analyze existing operations and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the network infrastructure and IT systems.
• Responsible for monitoring system backups and recovery as well as maintaining system anti-virus protection.
• Manage Cell Phones and office phones.
